Plastic Hardware Moulds

R. D. Mould & Industries makes plastic hardware moulds in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, for makers of sanitary and plumbing products: water taps and cocks, and pipe fittings such as elbows, tees, couplers, unions, valves and end caps. Buyers also call it a hardware mold, a tap mould, a bib cock mould or a PVC fitting mould.

Every hardware mould is built to your requirement: start from a reference product, a drawing or 3D design, a concept, or just the purpose, such as a fitting for a given pipe size. We work out the design with you, machine the mould on CNC, VMC and EDM machines in our toolroom and trial-test it in our own facility, so the first parts come out right on your machine. Our hardware moulds are built for PP, ABS, PVC, CPVC or UPVC. Since 2002 we have supplied moulds across India and to buyers abroad.

PVC pipe fitting moulds start from ₹1.6 lakh (about USD 2,100). Tap and cock moulds start from ₹1.75 lakh for a bib cock; most other tap and cock moulds, such as angle cocks, swan cocks and RO taps, are from ₹4.5 lakh (about USD 5,800). The final price depends on the product size, the number of cavities, the runner system and the steel.

1. Your requirement and cost evaluation. Send a reference product, a drawing or 3D design, a concept or just the purpose, with your machine details if you know them. You get a cost evaluation, usually within two working days.
2. Product and mould design. Our designers work out the design from what you sent and share it with you for approval before machining starts.
3. Machining. CNC, VMC and EDM machining, assembly, polishing and hardening in our toolroom.
4. Trial and inspection. Trial runs in our own testing facility, then visual and CMM inspection of the parts.
5. Packing and delivery. Anti-rust oil, waterproof film and a standard export wooden case, then dispatch to you.
