After polishing and hardening, the next process is the inspection of the mould. We’re at R. D. Mould & Industries, there are three different steps for the inspection of the injection mould. `

Visual inspection:

First, The visual inspection is carried on by our specialized QC team to check for dimensions, sink marks, manufacturing defects and overall product quality. Quality assurance is an integral part of any company in today’s competitive marketplace, and we take it very seriously. QA at R. D. Mould & Industries is a three-step process:

• A visual inspection is performed by our trained machine operators on every part that is made the moment it comes out of our machine using the parameters and critical dimensions set by you, our customer, to identify any rejects

• For quality control of critical dimensions identified by the customer, every part is checked with gauges and fixtures
• The parts are then randomly inspected once again by our QA personnel at the machine once every hour, and any rejects are logged
• Finally, the acceptable parts are boxed, counted, and moved to our quality control department, where they are randomly inspected once again, and the count is verified. The parts are then ready for shipment

Quality Station Inspection:

Parts at the quality station are inspected for more detailed specifications like measurements or failure tests. Here our experts check some essential parameters of the mould, and make a report accordingly. If they find any problem with the mould, the mould is directly delivered to our production department and they fix the problem.

Final Part Inspection:

Finished parts undergo one the final inspection in our staging area to ensure consistency across production shifts. Here we check all the things about the mold and give the green signal to the mould for their journey. Because this is the last stage of quality check, We want it to meet the customer in good condition, and to work longer.
